PLASTER REPAIR
Anyone ever use Fitzroy/Absolute Plaster? My plaster ceiling seems to be pulling away from the wood lathe. I had Fitz come by and he came me an estimate to repair it. Just wondering if anyone else has had work done by him. thanks.

We used him in our brownstone in Clinton Hill 3 years ago and he and his guys did a great job. Just remember, plaster work is messy.

We used him 3 years ago to repair half of a bedroom ceiling that collapsed. They did an excellent job replastering and matching the existing the molding. His team came on time, worked quickly and we could not have been more pleased.

I'm using Fitzroy right now and have recommended him on this board before. He is recreating very elaborate plaster crown moldings throughout my Fort Greene parlor floor from scratch. The work is gorgeous and Fitzroy is a gent. Only complaint is that the job is taking much longer than the two months he originally estimated -- we're going on four months (but it is a huge job). He must be busy since his staff seems stretched thin -- or maybe his guys are on summer vacation?
Anyway, no complaints whatsoever about the quality of the work.

Could you please provide contact information for Fitzroy? Also, does he provide painting services as well?

we are using Fitzroy now as well
he is extremely professional, his workers are very considerate and neat, the job they are doing seems top notch, if it finishes the way it has started i would say A+.
(we are not under a time constraint so i can't speak to that)
