Pat Kiernan can't say "Bay Ridge"
Does it bother anyone else that Pat Kiernan can't say "Bay Ridge" correctly? Here is an email I sent to NY1:
Please have Pat Kiernan stop mispronouncing Bay Ridge. The accent is on the second word "ridge" and not the first. Much like park SLOPE or the BRONX.
If you want credibility as NYs home-town news station please correct it. I don't care how he pronounces Edmonton or Alberta.

Try Cablevision's Channel 12. That at channel 156 on Time Warner.

I feel like I know you. It drives me insane every time Pat K. or just about anyone else mispronounces such an easy name for a neighborhood. The accent is on Ridge, not Bay. Granted this isn't the most important topic to discuss but it is one of those things that has to be said. Thank you.
