oil tank removal

need to have an oil tank drained, cut up and removed. Anyone have a recommendation for this?

Comments

Yes, we just had our tank removed on Friday.
Petroleum Tank Cleaners

They returned our call and came out for a site inspection and removed the tank in a matter of days. They charged $1195 for cleaning and removing. I have heard that the price is fair...

They were easy to work with, but a little old fashioned.......

to be honest that price sounds high to me (I need this done, too). Was your tank buried or something? Mine's not- on legs, about 5 feet longand5 feet high. Are we talking about the same kind of tank? Many thanks

seems about right. we got an estimate of 1100 from another company but they are futzing around so we wanted to see about someone else. Thanks so much.

try calling oil heating companies instead of removal companies. My oil heating company removed my tank and did an excellent clean up job for $380. They will filter and use the oil that was in there.
