Installing a dryer/vent & ducting
We are thinking of moving our washer& dryer to a large closet next to our kitchen on the ground floor of our brownstone and need to have someone do all the ductwork & venting out the back necessary. Who do you get to do that? If you know someone good, suggestions are very welcome. Thanks!

It may be a larger job than you think. You have to do some plumbing to get your hot & cold water & the drain to the new location and a vent through an outside wall, A contractor or Plumber can do this for you.

there are ventless washer and dryer units avalible. bosch makes one. we have a malber. it works ok, just use high efficency detergents. it may be a cheaper less intrusive solution. but in a perfect world i'd prefer a vented dyer.

you need a hvac contractor for duct and vent
and if you didn't have water/waste/vent line in that closet you also going to need a plumber
