Garage Renovation

I am renovating a carriage house to a garage with a studio apartment above. I would appreciate some idea of cost per square foot and perhaps a recommendation for contractor who has done similar work.

why did you post this at 1:20 and at 4pm. That's so odd.

Assuming your carriage house runs aboout 3200-3600 sq/ft, the amount of square footage has a bearing obviously. Downstairs (garage)you get a break -- about $60 sq/ft
Upstairs About $100 sq/ft.
These figures are obviously not based on ultra high-end fixtures and finishes upstairs.
