Clawfoot tub shower converter?
Wondering if anyone has any tips as to where to purchase a tub to shower convertor and circular shower ring that doesn't cost a fortune (Signature hardware is great for the high end stuff but that's not what I am looking for)? Its for a rental unit so doesn't have to be fancy.
Thanks.

Have you tried Renovation Hardware?

RH is $900. Try signaturehardware.com, less than $200.

The most common one is called "Add-A-Shower". Any local plumbing supply store will carry it. I'd try AF Supply on Lafayette Ave.
They're usually less than $300.
You can also order one on the web.

Another vote for Vintage Tub. I got a fairly simple set up (instead of dealing with a special order from Lowe's) delivered this past year. Everything exactly as requested. Great customer support, too.
