ISO Power Washer - Brownstone Facade
We're looking for a powerwasher to do our brownstone's lower facade (stoop and parlor level only). Any recommendations? We just got a quote from Unique Contracting that seemed silly high ($1000). The house is only 16 feet wide.

Go to home depot and rent or buy a power washer and do it yourself. IT IS FUN. Spray your neighbors if you really want to get silly.

Be very careful doing DIY power washing of a brownstone or brick building. Too much pressure and you can etch the stone which will leave very unattractive patterns on your facade. Use very light pressure and test an inconspicuous area before doing the whole building.

Joseph is a smart man.
On the other hand $1000 sounds a little too expensive.
DCA $0
W Comp $0
Liabil. $0
Disab. $0
20 years exper. $0
For everything else there is H.D.
Ruin your facade Priceless.

if anything, do not hire unique. Ask them how many houses they ruined before.
