Gap occurs after antique pine floors installed. Help!
I just had antique heart pine installed and throughout the rest of the house they look beautiful. But in the kitchen,we took the protective covering off to refinish and found out that most of the boards had a slightly larger than 3 cm gap between the ends. Not the width, so it wasn't shrinkage of the wood. Anybody have any clues as to why this happened? Please help!

Who installed it? If it's not shrinkage, it must be poor installation. I would ask your installer, but I don't fully understand your situation.
