Pass the mayo please?
During our reno, some unknown source has left marks on the glass of our exterior double doors. We suspect it was the power
washing of our bricks to remove paint --- perhaps some chemical
(eg muriatic acid) in the solution? In any case, the glass doesn't
appear to be scratched, but no glass cleaner, WD40, or even
mayonaisse (suggested by our painter!) has managed to
remove the telltale signs of something splashed on the glass.
We are willing to try anything to save the glass (it's original,
beveled, and has the street number etched in). If you have
a witches brew that has worked for you, we are willing to try it.
