Moving a safe that weighs at least a ton
Has anyone had to throw away really heavy garbage? A commercial tenant that operated a check cashing place left behind a safe weighing at least a thousand pounds. Does anyone want it? Or can you recommend someone to throw it away for me?

it's worth $ for it's weight in metal. Google scrop metal places in the area and they'd probably pick it up.

have you tried calling a safe company? If it's any good, they may wish to buy it from you. Probably for not much money but if you include the provision that they cart it away....
