Illeagle Deck
I have a deck that oneday will need to be removed.....its off the top floor of a 2 + Eng Bsmt Limestone.....anyone know the laws on fire escapes?? Could i build one that would have steps that could go two levels down to backyard?? We have a two family and we live upstairs and the deck is great but its wood and one day will have to go so we would like to share the backyard with our renter one day ....thanks

You should talk to an architect and file plans with the DOB. There are limits on what you can do and how large you can make your deck. It boils down to the size of your house and the C of O.
