WALL LINER?
Does anyone out there have any experience with heavy duty wall liner? I've seen it in action in the UK. It covers cracks and chips beautifully. I've finally found a US supplier. Now I need to find someone who can hang it... goes up like wallpaper.

what do you do, paint it? what happens at the seams? sounds interesting, can you provide more details?

Yes, it's a paintable surface. It's treated like wallpaper, and therefore does show seams to some extent, but to my eye that's far more palatable than thousands of hair line cracks and chipping paint. I believe the paint on my wall is lead... NYS suggests wallcoverings such as this as an acceptable (if somewhat temporary) encapsulation method.
