Electricial work
We're having some new outlets put in and the electricians have cut about 4 holes (roughly 8" each) in the walls and ceilings for each new outlet. Forgive my ignorance, but is that standard? It looks like exploratory surgery here...

Yep, very normal. Nothing that some plaster can't fix later.

Are they running new wires, or just changing the boxes?
