Dry Air in Home with Steam Radiators
I heard there is some type of a "kettle" or "pot" that has ridges on the bottom so it can be place on top of a radiator and down into the "ribs." When filled with water and the radiator heats up, the water steams into the air keeping your home's environment from drying out. Does anybody know where I can purchase such an item? Thanks.

Sounds like something you'd have to trip over in an antique or thrift store. In the meantime, any tea kettle, or pot will do. If your radiator is too curved, jury rig a board or something to keep the pot on top. Maybe just leaning the pot on the wall behind the radiator will do.

I saw one at Sisters Hardware on Fulton just a couple of weeks ago. I've also seen some really nice looking ones being sold at local craft fairs by potters.
