PAINTING TILE
Hey everyone:
I know this sounds wacky, but is it possible to paint over tile? The tile in my bathroom is great not chipped or cracked and the grout is in god condition - I just dont like the color. I am really trying to cut costs, and I want to know if this is feasible or not.

It's doable but you should use special paint to keep it from becoming easily marked and chipped.

You could also try reglazing the tile. I haven't done this myself, but I've been considering it. I'm in a similar situation to you...

Yes, many companies who resurface old bathtubs can spray your walls too.

Part of the beautiful 1899 tile in my bathroom was painted glossy pinkwhen we bought our house, so I know it's do-able. LOL--it wasa b**h to strip.

Painting tile is ugly and stupid. If you can't afford to renovate your bathroom, leave it as is.
