Freaky weather patterns

Just curious if anyone else has spring plants coming up in their garden. I don't know much about botany but this strikes me as a bit scary.

No, but I work in a park and last week I saw that there are still mosquitoes.

Yes, my daffodils are starting to poke through. Some of the leaves are 2" high. This is very much on my mind lately.

I found a tick on my dog the other day. We were upstate.Seen mozzies and have allergies to boot. Such are the downsides of global warming.

I have crocuses coming up. Also the irises are sprouting as well as new shoots on the rose bush i cut back. there are buds on my lilac tree and the hydrangeas are budding as well. I think we have only had one day below 32 so far this season. Not normal at all. The ground at this point usually has some permafrost.

I'm not kidding, wild strawberries started growing through cracks in my stone patio about a month ago and are still growing. I covered them in plastic with the hope that by spring, they'll cover the entire patio. How cool would that be?

Strawberry icecream anyone?
