Investment Group
I'd like to join an investment group to buy a brownstone. Does anyone know how I can meet like minded folks serious about putting up their money? thanks

great idea! can you set up a time and place
where we could all meet to chat and discuss this.
a restaurant, school or church might be a good
venue.

I would be interested in forming a group.
This house (new to the market) in Clinton Hill might be a good starting point for 4 separate buyers:

There is actually a "shape-up" site in Williamsburg on the corner of Bedford & Broadway for yuppie investors. Ortodoxy Jewish gentlemen will drive by slowly in mini-vans offering to sell homes. You can buddy-up wiht other investors and make an offer on the spot! I hear the hotdog vendor on the opposite corner can arrange EZ financing.
