Sanking a Sewer line.

I'm looking to have the sewage system in my house snaked/cleaned. This would include two outdoor drains as well as, at least, one drain indoors. Can anyone recommend a service that would do this and what the approximate price would be? I am under the impression that a skilled plumber is not needed for this.

Thanks in advance.

look in the phone book, there will be dozens of companies that do this a la Roto-Rooter.

i had this done a few months ago and paid $500. i thought this was high, but it was an emergency and i didn't have the time to collect estimates.

This may be an easy job if your plumbing is not that old. But if you are having problems you might want a real qualified plumber to replace any traps or pipes that are severely clogged. Do you have a big problem? It is possible a trap is clogged so bad it will need to be replaced. I had concrete in mine in the back yard.

Ajax sewer. (718)456-8808.
I paid $160 to have my sewer pipes snaked, which included the pipes leading to the street outside my house.

I have a contract with Gateway plumbing. When my sewer overflowed I called them first and they sent over a company that they contract with, python. I don't have their number, as I paid my plumber, but they did a good job. You may want to try your plumber first if you have one.
