Cell Tower/Repeater

Anyone know of laws on cell phone repeaters on top of buildings in residential areas? There's one being installed basically in our back yard on an adjacent taller apt. building. What are the health effects of something beaming directly at us at all times?

You have no recourse. It is a private matter between the owner of the building and the company that operates the cell phone tower.

The health effects have not been proven to be harmful under the law and no court has upheld the removal of these towers based on such a suit, and numerous have been undertaken.

It sucks but that's the way it is.

Actually there is a building in PArk Slope battling this issue. It was reposted about in the Brooklyn Eagle & NY Times. There is a school in BAy Ridge dealing with the same issue. Look up those articles, may help. But there are no laws here in US even though they have been found harmful in Europe.
