Stone Sources
Any owners/architects/builders out there that can recommend a stone supplier/fabricator OTHER than FORO? Have had nothing but trouble with Foro from poor install, fabrication, and templating, to unwillingness to deal fairly with the problems. Anyone out there that can handle high end work with more than an iota of customer service???

Try Benny Lacca in Bensonhurst. Third generation family run business. Templated and installed granite in my kitchen and bath.

I used a fabricator on 6th and 63rd in Bay Ridge, just up 6th Ave. from the Toyota dealership. Very nice work (kitchen, baths, various other granite bits in my house), and fair prices. IIRC, Ricky Huang was the proprietor.

I often use European Marble on 19th St & 4th Ave in Bklyn for stone supply, and Precision Stone for fabricator and installer. Don't know how easy it is to get Precision Stone when you're not in the trade. European is very nice to deal with and sells to retail.

Mondial tile in Bay Ridge is great for tile and stone. They have a warehouse with slabs and do everything from counter fabrication and installation to fireplaces to selling stone and ceramic tiles.
