Crown Heights North Landmark Status
It was briefly mentioned in a previous thread that some areas in Crown Heights North will be receiving landmark status in June. Does anyone have any information or know where I can get the information for the most recent meeting? Would I be able to find anything on the subject on the Crown Heights North Association's website?

Yeah, take a look at the CH board topic above, I posted a map and some of the info about the meeting.
If you really are curious you could go to the LPC meeting on June 20 where the LPC actually initiates the public debate phase of the process.
You can bet the developers will make a point to show up to bemoan the extra limitations landmark status gives them. I hope a lot of CH and other Brooklyn neighbors flock there to drown them out.
BTW Crown Heights North Association has a meeting the next night June 21 at the regular place. Check out their web site.

Whoops,
The actual meeting for public comment will be September 12. The public announcement of the proposed CH North district is June 20.
Everyone still should make both!
