Bathroom repairs
I have a newish stall shower that appears to be leaking into the drywall causing puckering and dampness, and the grout between tiles is beginning to crack and separate around the shower door.
Could anyone recommend a reliable contractor who could repair this?
Thanks.

You are looking at redoing the shower, it seems like it has not been built properly. Do you have shower pan installed (lead, rubber)on shower floor under the tiles? Are the tiles installed on cement board on the walls? I can recommend some people but hoenstly it will be bigger job.

I am the original poster. I have no idea what's underneath the tile. We bought the house "newly renovated." We're discovering that it was a very cheap flip job. Any leads would be appreciated.

You can contact me directly thru e-mail.
I have few nice contractors who can take a look
at your problem. Where are you located, which area? Again my feeling is it has not been done right to begin with, so you have to be ready for
the redo.

Sounds like it was not done correctly at all - my brownstoners recommendation is St. John 917-684-7817
