Mantel Rippin' Away
I have a mantel (slate, I believe, rather standard as they go) on the top floor of the brownstone that is coming off the brick. It is probably due to the significant settling of the house up there. Obviously, there's no pushing it back in place. What's to be done?
Take the whole piece off and remortar it somehow? Is this a job for someone you might know?
