Roofers - A. Malek?
We're looking to get a new roof put on our brownstone including completely removing the old roof. All the roofers we've talked to so far only cover existing roofs with more and more layers. Does anyone know of a roofer who can start from scratch? Has anyone used A. Malek? We see they're signs everywhere but aren't sure if that's because they're good or because they're usually listed first alphabetically.

I've used Malek for brownstone facade repair, cornice repair, brick repointing, and installation of a brick font garden area - did a great job. He is not cheap though and I have not had experience with this roofing work.

Malek is a mason. I dont think he does roof work. He does good work repointing, very reliable.

MALEK IS A GOOD WOKER AND RLIABLE BUT HE IS THE TYPE OF PERSON THAT DOES NOT LIKE TO TURN DOWN ANY JOB , HE WILL PROBABLY GIVE YOU A ROOT CANAL TO IF YOU ASK HIM .

Try Mohammed @ 917-855-5459. There will be a language barrier, but he just did my roof from scratch on my Bed Stuy Brownstone. Good work, and a really nice guy. english is limited.

Did you find someone good to do this job. WE have the same problem. Need to take the old roof off, possibly strengthen the underlying structure a bit and put a new roof on.

We have 7 fireplaces that have years of paint
on them. Can someone recommend a product or
a person that can remove it from our brownstone.
