Architect Wanted for Condo Development

I am looking for a recommendation for a good architect to work on a project in Carroll Gardens. The project is a two story 2200 sq ft addition to a 3 story townhouse and to convert the building into condos. Any leads would be appreciated.

Check out Mason Wickham and Edwin Zawadzki of In Situ Design. Based in Fort Greene -- 718-596-3109. Pretty amazing, modern residential design. Theye've also done some cutting edge hotel design work in Montreal.

They're website is www.insitudesign.com. (They're working on my house now.)

I am a licensed architect here in Brooklyn. My firm is called Prospect Architecture, PC, and we are a sustainably focused design/build firm. We have done brownstone design and construction in the past and are currently working on a Brownstone renovation on St. John's Place in Park Slope. Focusing on 'green' or sustainable design can help set your condos apart from the others on the market, as well as increase your asking price. We also offer Construction management services where we work for a fixed fee and coordinate the entire construction process. This benifits the client more than a General Contractor because we are on the side of the client the entire time and don't add markups on all materials an labor. This also expedites the process by eliminating the need for coordination between the architect and general contractor. If you have already found a good architect out there, then good luck.

Did you ever get your project off the ground? I'm interested in doing a similar type of project (1100ft2 addition) to a 3 family townhouse. Banks don't seem to want to finance these type of projects these days...
