Picture Framer

Hi - This is slightly off topic (I think) but I'd love recommendations for a local picture framer. We are nearing completion of our master bedroom renovation and have some original drawings that need reframing for the new room. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try San Art on 7th Avenue in Park Slope. Just a block south of Flatbush Ave.

There is a woman named Phyllis Wrynn at 559 10th Street in the Slope, between 7th and 8th, who has a frame shop and small gallery in her house. She does amazing work, really stellar. When a photo of my first child made the front page of the NYT Phyllis knew where to get it dipped in acid so it would last and framed it in a perfect way. She also commissioned beautiful custom frames for us for another project. She is, however, how shall I say it, somewhat eccentric. And very opinionated about how different kinds of art should be framed. I also had pretty good luck with Brooklyn Frameworks on 5th Ave. in the north slope.
