"Unbreakable" Glass
Has anybody used this in windows in their house or know anything about it as a product? We are re-doing a laundry room (ground floor)and would love to get rid of bars on these windows, is this a viable alternative or more just a gimmick?

in the summer, if you don't want to use A/C, you may want that window open when your out and about, or asleep. In which case, you'd want the bars still there. Open window on ground level is an invitation to a thief. I have an alarm system, but I kept the bars on the garden level.
