Stairs
Anyone know a good and affordable stair company or a good carpenter? I need my banister and spindles reconnected -- some work was done and they were left lying around in pieces...thanks...Also have other general carpentry work I need done...

I know a carpenter/painter that did nice work in my kitchen -- don't know what her experience with stairs is but you could ask her yourself . . .

Soxco Stairs is the top of the line and very reasonable. he mostly works for GC's so you get him for less than if are GC'er recommended him.

Anton did two flights of stairs in our 1899 brownstone. He gave us new red oak treads and risers and restored stripped and brought back to life the lovely mahogany railing and spindels (why do people paint things like that jet black?)
Anyway I highly recommend him. He is aces.
