Affordable Contractor and Plumber for Bed Stuy
I just bought a brownstone in bedstuy on hancock & stuyvesant. I need to renovate the garden & parlor floors. Getting outrageous estimates for labor only. The contractor who renovated the 3rd fl rental cost 10k, labor only. I've gotten one estimate for 50k for the garden/parlor floor. Also, do you know of a good, affordable plumber to relocate pipes for kitchen/bath?
Thank you so much!

what is that 50k for? GC + plumber for two floors? Then it doesn't seem that bad. Just a plumber? that's crazy.
Timothy Myers at Henry Myers Plumbing knows what he's doing, but he's is a bit quirky. Prices seemed like a good value.

50k is for both, but still seems high since I'll be paying for materials, and there's no work on the 2nd fl except the new bathroom. Thanks for the plumbers. Would love recommendation for contractors. Also, does anyone know of a good cedat fence company?

Hi,
My partner and I just recently bought a brownstone on MacDonough between Marcy and Tompkins. We are actually doing most of the workourselves, but he has info on contactors as he is an interior designer. We are also seeking friends in the neighborhood that are new brownstone owners and renovating. Perhaps we can chat and get to know each other, seap info etc.
Thanks,
Dan
