Repointing Foundation
Interested to see if anyone has had any experience repointing their feildstone foundation walls. What did you use, or maybe more appropriately for this site, who did you use? As in most 100+ year-old townhouses, the sand-based mortar is falling out, and needs to be re-done. Any advice would be appreciated.Comments
Our contractor did a reasonable job converting a window into French doors to the garden. As with your situation, he indeed knocked out part of the wall.
He did a good job, but screwed us bigtime on other, much simpler work. Let me know if you still want his details.

Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I haven't been up to much these days. I just don't have much to say right now. I can't be bothered with anything , but whatever.
