Architect
Can anyone recommend an architect who would be interested in cosulting on a brownstone renovation project for a limited time on an hourly or daily basis?
My fiancee and I have worked very hard to draw up our own plans for our renovation, and would love to have an expert eye take a look at and troubleshoot what we've done before we put our ideas into practice.

I'm a residential architect in Manhatten who is actually undertaking my own brownstone renovation in Clinton Hill.
I'd love to take a look at your plans. Maybe we can give each other some ideas.

Jeffrey Charles Pierre is a guy who knows his brownstones. His number is 7182210417. His office is in Bed-Stuy at 366 Stuyvesant Ave. Tell him Justin sent you.

My wife and I have a 20'X40' c. 1880 2-family brick brownstone, 3 stories plus semi-exposed basement, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I am an architect and she is an architectural conservator. We are currently renovating our house to make a more happy, attractive division into 2 families than it had when we bought it. I have along the way developed some opinions about how modern people inhabit brownstones. I would love to talk to you about your project.

My firm has undertaken several renovations for clients [and my own family] in Park Slope over the past 5 years.
We are happy to provide any input you need.

Doug, it would be great if you would share your thoughts with brownstoner audience.
Indeed, people populate brownstones in a different way today. One of the most obvious examples is a living-dining-kitchen-terrace parlor setup. There are some more, like moving plumbing to the middle of the house to free up windowed rooms for a living space. It would be interesting to listen to your (and everybody's) opinion and ideas on this.

I would talk to Perla Delson at Delson or Sherman Architects because she is really smart and has great taste and she and her partner have done a bunch of brownstones.
I think they're listed on the brownstone site somewhere or just google it.

I've done several Brownstone renovations in Brooklyn including two of my own. I've been working as an Architect/Designer for 12 years. 7 of which were focused on residential design.
I would love to take a look at your plans and give advise.
