Am I the only one, or did channel 13 preempt parts of the complete brooklyn project with “beg-a-thon” again??

It seem to me that the original airing was never shown in its entirety an when rerun I only seem to have the first 7 episodes (and have to geth the rest from channel 21).

The first this old house project in NYC — unforgivable!!

Does anyone have any advice regarding internet+cable service providers in Williamsburg? We’ve had the usual poor TW experience and now we’re wondering if that’s pretty much what you get with any provider. Thanks.

Which one has better services and prices? Looking to make the jump to one of these two services and I’d love to hear some experiences people have had with either Verizon FIOS (with phone, internet, and cable TV) and also Optimum Triple Play (with those same services). Thanks in advance for your help- it’s a tough choice!

I know it’s period-inappropriate but I have to run antenna wires from my roof to all floors of a 3-story house. How has anyone else done that? Holes on each floor? One hole from roof & try to run cable inconspiculously inside? (I’d love it if someone said there’s some kind of wi-fi set-up I could do.)

Have been to Best Buy, PC and surfed the web and although, i’m somewhat wise about electonics, I’m clueless about which TV to buy and what specs to look for. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. We’re in Ditmas Park and use Cablevision, if that makes any difference.

I have had increasing trouble with Time Warner digital service and am thinking about the switch to Direct TV. Does anyone have thoughts on the two providers? If you have Direct TV how is the service?

Can anyone recommend an indoor HD antenna for use in Boerum Hill, with no direct line of sight to Manhattan?

I know this might be a longshot but we are looking for a reliable technician who can hook up our satellite cables to wires that were installed in our rentals when we renovated (two months ago). All we are getting now is runaround from the GC and the cable companies each pointing their fingers at the other. We want to know if it can be done, and if not, why.

Hi all, we just moved and got the triple play internet/cable/phone package. Due to the phone, the cable guy had to put the modem in the basement. We are goig to hook up a wireless router in order to connect our laptops. However, due to the modem (and router) being in the basement, we want to make sure to get a router with a strong enough signal to reach the third floor. We use Vista, for whatever that is worth. Any advice????
