Coop Property Managers

Does anyone have a good recommendation for a management co for a 25-unit coop in Boerum Hill? We’ve been with Goldin Management for several years now and growing increasingly unhappy; most recently, their rapid staff turnover is about to put us on our fourth manager in six months and they’re being…less than helpful or upfront about the situation.

We’ve got a relatively small percentage of actively involved owners and now I feel like we’re spending as much time managing our managers as managing the building.

We need someone who is good with billing and finances, primarily, but also proactive in helping us identify and solve problems as we’re all relatively inexperienced property owners. We’ve also had some serious financial issues this year (due in part to mismanagement by our Goldin rep from 2008-2010).

Management Company Recommendations for Coop

I’m in a 20 unit Co-op, and wondering if anyone has any good management companies to recommend. We’ve been working with one for a few years now, and while they’ve been ok overall, we’ve been through 4 managers in 4 months (it’s not us I swear!), and seems like something weird is going on inside the company.

Anyone had any good experiences, or are management companies generally terrible?

Where can I buy this mail key box?

I asked the mailman and he didn’t know. Anybody know where can I buy the box on the picture? They told me that the lock has to be installed by the USPS but I have to provide the box. Also, do you know what is called?

ISO residential property manager

I am looking for someone who currently manages small residential properties (2-3 family homes) for owners who are away most of the year. Looking for help with tenant turnover, assessment of repairs, and general care for the property. If you have someone you use and recommend, would you be so kind as to share that?

Thanks.

Wright Management

Has anyone here used Wright Management in the past to manage their building or currently use them? I wanted to see if they were reputable before I contacted them.
