Great Tile/Carpentry/Paiting Guy

Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I found a GREAT tile guy to redo my busted up bathroom floor. My plumber even commented on how great Carlos’ work was. When I asked if he did other work he said he was a carpenter and painter. I just had him do some shelves in a closet that turned out great.

Also, his quote for my bathroom floor were half the cost of the other two people I brought in. I found Carlos here on this site and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Carlos Cell 914-309-5970. Tell him Sarie sent you.

Great Handyman

I just had Brian Piersol (piersol33@gmail.com, 646 831 6481 ) do some work in my co-op apartment and would highly recommend him. Specifically Brian, did a lot of the heavy duty baby proofing for us, like attaching our bookcases to the wall as well as installing a ceiling fan, and a host of other small jobs around our house. In addition, to his great work, Brian is extremely honest, price fairly and you can really trust him.

Contractor/Handy Man You Can Trust??

Just sending this out on behalf of Henry. (who I’ve posted about along with others on this site.)

Henry has worked with me and my family in 3 brownstones over the last 10 years.

His work is phenomenal. He’s neat, thorough and always arrives completely prepared. He’s built decks, painted, installed kitchens, bathrooms, (put together and installed ikea products) tiled bathroom walls & floors (beautifully!) wired electric, built & taken down walls, refinished floors, installed washer/dryers, and even hung pictures!

I recommend him because I know that he take real pride in his work. And he’s never the type of contractor to charge you $750 to remove a handball that has clogged a gutter on the roof. (It’s happened!)

So call Henry – whether your doing a full renovation, or just need a handy person you can trust and build a relationship with in your property.

HENRY – (516) 491-3499 (forgive the PSA, he’s just a good guy who does great work and there seems not to be enough of his sort around!!!)

Handyman with a Ladder

The regular bouts of hurricane force winds have done a number on the aluminum siding on my house in Williamsburg. I need a handyman with a 40 foot ladder to deal with some pieces of siding that have come unstuck. It’s a simple, fast job. Any recommendations?

Hi. I’m looking for recommendations and estimates for someone to replace a fan coil AC/Heater in my apartment. I’m already set to buy the units, just need someone to do the removal of the old unit and installation of the new one. The units are made by a company called International Environmental.

Has anyone had these replaced before? See attached picture.

Handyman’s Helper?

My husband has started a handyman business in Brooklyn in the last few years and he is fortunate enough to be very busy…but he has hit the point where he needs some help. He is looking to find a reliable assistant to work with him part time.

Since I sit at a desk (and he is out in the field), I said that I would ask around the e-community for ideas on how to find such a helper. Would appreciate any thoughts.
