Need to Re-Upholster Eames Aluminum Series Chairs


I have two Eames Aluminum Series chairs that seriously need to be re-upholstered. Does anyone know someone who can do that for a reasonable price?

Need a New Gutter


We need a new gutter and downspout at the back of our house. I don’t think it’s a huge job. I’m assuming that we would call a roofer for a gutter. Can anyone recommend a roofer that will do a small job? Most seem like they’re really busy after the very snowy winter!

Patio Umbrella Repair


I’m looking for someone who can repair a patio umbrella. It was fairly expensive (around $350) so I would like to save it. It is a tilting umbrella and a pin came out so it always flops and then spins. The company that made the umbrella went out of business so I can’t order the replacement part. Thanks.

Roof Repair Estimate


We have a spot in our roof that is leaking. There is a bubble under the rubber. We got an estimate for a repair to:
Cut the old roof where there are bubbles.
Patch it to level surface and install new rubber roof in the entire area.
Install metal edge flashing in the wall and finish it with aluminum roofing paint.
It was for $3200. Does that seem high?

Sod Installation


I would like to get sod put in our yard in an 18′ x 24′ area. Can anyone recommend a landscape contractor? I don’t need a designer, just someone who can turn the soil and install the sod properly. Has anyone used Zoysia grass? We seeded last year, but the weeds completely took over, I heard that zoysia grass keeps the weeds down and grows in all types of light.
