Hi Brownstoners, We have a 60% full 128 ounce container of Tiki Torch fuel. We no longer have Tiki Torches so I am putting it out there for any Brownstoner that wants to come and pick it up.

Pull Down Closet Rods for Sale


Hi Brownstoners, I have a pair of heavy duty pull down closet rods for creating two levels in your closet. The handle pulls down the rod to make your clothes more accessible and a light push will send the bar back up to the top of your closet. New they run for $130 each. I am offering them for $75 for the pair. All mounting screws included. I am located in Gowanus on Bond between Douglass and Degraw. Thanks!

Free DirectTV Dish


The apartment we moved into has a Slim Line DirectTV dish mounted on the roof. We are not using DirectTV and would love to give the dish to someone who has the tools and would be willing to take it off the wall and take it away. We are on Bond St between Douglass and Degraw. I have apicture but could not get it to load to the site. Will be happy to e-mail it to you. Would this be something in which anyone might be interested?

Help with Home Theater


My husband and I just bought a condo in Boerum Hill. We purchased from the owner a monster TV (at least it seems that way to us) and a whole lot of equipment and speakers and such. He had Apple TV which we do not and we would love to be able to listen to the radio (which we know exists but can’t figure out how to make work) and basically understand how to do simple things – like watch TV or a DVD. Does anyone know a good home theater person who can not only set up the system for the way we live but most importantly teach us how to actually use it? Any help would be appreciated.
