Source for Storm Windows?
Has anyone recently had storm windows installed? I need a place to buy some with or without installation. Although the Lowe’s site shows storm windows none of their stores anywhere near the city carry them.
Any recommendations will be appreciated.

Has anyone had any experience with them? I’m considering using them to install a woodburning stove in my fireplace.

Woodburning Stove Installation
Does any have a recommendation of a person to make necessary changes to fireplace flue to vent a woodburning stove through the existing chimney? The flue would have to be accessed ablove the mantel and the damper removed and stove pipe installed. I know that the flue is good. I know its hot outside, but winter is comming and I assume fireplace work gets busy in the fall.

WANTED FINS FOR STEAM PIPE
I haven’t see these in years, but would like to know if they are still available. I remember seeing “fins” that hinged and clamped over a steam pipe to provide additional heat. If I remember correctly they were about 6″ square. Is anyone aware of a source for such an item?

DIRECT VENT GAS FIREPLACE
Has anyone installed a direct vent gas fireplace? If so who did you buy from, have intall and were you satisfied? For my installation I need a positive venting one which uses a fan since I must vent under the floor to an outside wall. All advice appreciated.
