Built in wardrobe/closets


We’re about to move into a condo and need to add in some closet space. We want them to look nice and modern (like the picture) but don’t need top of the line (laminate is fine). We’ve called a lot of the “closet guys” and the estimates we’re getting are pretty steep. Are we better off going through a contractor and do you have anyone you’d recommend for something like this? Thanks for your help!

Duplex question


My husband and I are considering buying a duplex where the bottom floor is in the basement. Due to coding/zoning laws there is only a 1/2 bath in the basement. We would like to turn it into a full bath and make a master suite downstairs. Has anyone else done anything similar? Was it hard to find a contractor to do the work? What happened when you went to sell the apartment? Any guidance is much appreciated!
