Handyman to Assemble & Install Cabinets


I am seeking a qualified & reliable handyman to assemble & install four wall-mounted storage cabinets in my finished basement. The walls are plasterboard over brick so I was told I would need the cabinets attached with tapcon screws. This is beyond my expertise.

The cabinets are from a company online called Garage Storage Cabinets (www.garagestoragecabinets.com). You can view the easy assembly instructions on their site.

I have spoken to a few handymen, but all have been unreliable or unable to do the work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Vacant Lot?


The earlier post about purchasing a vacant lot got me to thinking. How does one go about finding out if there are any problems with a lot that had a house on it but was demolished?

I know there is the PropertyShark.com site that allows you to see if there are any outstanding violations, etc, but what about things that might not show up on a report like a faulty sewer system or whatever?

Short of asking neighbors, is there a city agency that records such issues?
