I would like to take a moment on the forum to highly recommend a contractor I used for a renovation of my second floor apartment in my brownstone. His name is Julio Bonete, bonete.julio@gmail.com, (718)781-9904.
He did an amazing job of installing all new electric throughout the apartment as well as repairing and skim coating the walls. He and his crew also installed a new kitchen which included proclaim flooring, tiled backsplash, new sink and lower cabinets. We were able to keep the upper cabinets and configured them to allow for a microwave/vent above the gas range.
Not only did Julio renovate my 2nd floor he came to my rescue last week when I discovered a ton of water in the basement floor and first floor bathroom ceiling. He located the busted pipe; the main sewage line running in the wall of second floor and replaced it. He also returned the ceiling and tiling to their original state where the pipe laid behind. It looks like it never was opened up. He also replaced the damage ceiling in the first floor bath.
But what is truly great about Julio as a contractor is that he listens and works with you. After owning this brownstone since 2003, I have finally found a contractor which I can rely on and will use again and again.
If you are considering renovation work in your home, I would suggest calling Julio for an estimate. He and his crew were extremely respectful to my other tenants, did amazing work in the timely manner and his price was very affordable. Please tell him that Todd Stone recommended him. Thank you.
