Washington Ave. Vacate Order


Anyone know what the story is with the building on Washington and Myrtle (contains the liquor store)? I noticed scaffolding on the Washington Ave. side and an order to vacate the entire building posted on the door.

Brooklyn Fare coming soon!


I was given a tour of Brooklyn Fare, the new food store opening on Hoyt and Schermerhorn. Mo,one of the owners, said he’s planning a “soft opening” at the end of March and a more formal opening after that. The space looks great, surprisingly large, and Mo took real pride in pointing out some of the planned specialties. Looks like a potentially great addition to the “hood”!
