Landmark Windows Wood vs Clad


Our windows are 6 over 6 original wood.
A local window supplier told us he was able to get Landmarks permission to use aluminum clad .
We didn’t use an expediter as this supplier did our drawings and has done lots of landmark work.
We spent the summer months waiting for approval that we didn’t get. He now says Landmarks only approves clad for 1 over 1′s.
Does anyone have experience with wood vs clad for landmarked houses?

Replacing landmark windows


I need landmark windows 6 over 6′s
Interested in anyone’s recent experience/recommendations for quality windows. Need advice on storms/screens/double vs.triple glazing. Perhaps I won’t need storms if I have triple glazing?
Can one have landmark windows with triple glazing?
