brownstone chelsea

We are currently looking at purchasing a 350 sq. ft. fourth floor walk up apartment in Chelsea. They are asking for about $1000/sq.ft Does this seem reasonable considering today’s market?

Joining two apartments

We live on the top floor of a brownstone and have the opportunity to buy the apartment directly next to ours. We are trying to find a plumber that can help us establish where the plumbing and electrical risers are located for the building so that we know whether or not we can break through to join the two apartments. Anyone have any suggestions?
