Recommendations for Furniture Repair/Reupholstery


A recent move damaged several pieces of furniture, chipped legs, stained upholstery, wobbly joints, etc. I’d really like to see these can be salvaged, especially as one piece was my grandmother’s. Any recommendations for good resources for these services would be welcome!

Fire Suppression Test for Coop?


Our 5-unit, self-managed coop has been issued a notice from NYFD that the Fire Suppression system test is due. The last time this was done in 2004 there was a management company in place, but they never turned over all the documentation, etc.

Anyway, looking to find a Master Fire Suppression Contractor, as cited in this notice to conduct the necessary tests. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks.
