Why so many Boston Terriers?


Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew why there were so many Boston Terriers located in Park Slope? It seems like almost 1/3 of all of the dogs I see are Boston Terriers. Elsewhere, they seem to be a pretty rare dog. Is there a few good breeders in town? Do they make good pets for small apartments? Am I just imagining this? If anyone can help me shed some light on this, I’d really appreciated it.
