I am considering combining my parlor floor w/floor above. Will need to add an internal stair as the hall stair will still be used for tenants above. I really don’t like spiral stairs – has anyone been able to successfully combine with traditional stair without losing too much space? House dimensions are 21×50, parlor ceilings are about 11′. Thank you for any ideas and/or images.
