This gorgeous, historic American Empire Period chest of drawers or dresser dates from Civil War era and is made with matched flame mahogany and walnut. Entirely hand made furniture, the drawers are hand dovetailed and the paneled back is rough sawn and hand planed. The rich deep finish is in very good condition, and all drawers open and close smoothly. Beautiful scroll details on legs and drawer fronts. Rounded top drawer. Brass keyholes and key. A solid piece of heirloom furniture that’s been well tended, polished and cared for through the years. Dimensions: 43″ wide, 23″ deep and 44″ tall.
