I live next to an inactive construction site, the foundation has been dug and concrete has been poured but work on the building stopped 2 years ago. In the meantime quite a bit of trash has been building up in the site. My windows look out into the foundation and it is a pretty grim view. I checked the city’s 311 website but since it is not on the street, the trash doesn’t fall under the jurisdiction of the sanitation department, there isn’t anything applicable under the options for the department of buildings either and they apparently don’t send inspectors for things that don’t fit one of their categories (or so I have been told over the phone). Does anyone have any suggestions?
