low-commitment interior design


I just moved and need a little design help. It will take me 5 years to furnish it the way I want it but I would like someone to help me with the layout. Does anyone have an interior designer who does one-day/huorly consults?

sewer co. recommendations


My bathtub drain is clogged. A plumber came by yesterday and tried two different snakes and couldn’t get the blockage to moved so suggested a call a sewer company. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would love to get a recommendation of a plumbing or sewage company that can help me. Any idea of cost would be great so I can prepare myself. Thank you

antique table dissembly


I have a mid century wood dining table that needs to be taken apart because it can’t fit down the hall to my dining room. I have tried a number of furniture people (Boerum Hill restoration among them) and they either haven’t called me back or told me they can’t help me. Any suggestions?? thank you

table de/reconstruction


I just moved into a new apartment and my dining table won’t fit through the corridor into the dining room. The legs need to be removed but they are screwed AND glued on. This table is really the only thing of any value I own so I’d like to take some care with it. Does anyone know of any restoration/builder type services that can help me?
