Storage Shed


Is a permit required for a storage shed in the back yard. shed is metal, 10X8 with 7′ hight at it’s highest point. it will be anchored down to the existing concrete patio. property is a 9-unit building.

Garage Roof


I need advice on a garage roof issue. The original garage built in 1958 had a concrete/cement roof which eventually collapsed. The garage is attached to a brick multi-dwelling building. Do i need to replace the roof with like materials or can i use wood joists, plywood and rubber roofing?

How can I find out what is the actual unit count of a property. there is no C of O; Finance, HPD & the deed show three different things.

Advice on Bushwick


I’m looking at purchasing a 6-unit building in Bushwick. One is on Irving & Stanhope and the other on Stanhope between Wyckoff & Irving. Any thoughts on the area?
Are there better locations?
